New Work

The basic technique behind making stained glass windows has not changed for hundreds of years. Although stained glass designs have changed quite a bit over decades. From the modern style of minimum design to the traditional hand painted extremely detailed window.

Its not very often we get to do all new work on a church. As many churches simply don't have the money for new windows or they prefer to restore their existing windows.

St Brandon's Church

St Brandon's Church, County Durham was totally destroyed in a fire. Almost every original window had melted in the intense heat. There was no detailed photos of the original windows, so we were given new designs by the Architect Christopher Downs. We had the job to make all new windows for the refurbished church using hand made antique glass.
